2009.06.25: Reminder from NGC2009 Organizers: The deadline for the regular conference fee payment is July 10 . After July 10 the conference fee will be 500 USD (600 CAD) and the hotels may also use our reserved rooms for sale to general public for the market price. We recommend our participants to make their conference fee payment and hotel reservation earlier rather than later to avoid unnecessary extra costs for their travel. Your early payment and secured participation help also to the conference planning and contribute to its succcess. Save money for the social and networking events at our meeting and other important things in your life!

2009.05.13: Young and Early Career Scientists section has been replaced by the Discovery Workshop section to accomodate the large number requests for contributed oral presentations and to provide more opportunities for students, postdocs and early career professors and researchers for presentation of their research results. 2009.05.04: Continuing a CSTC tradition, an award will be presented at the conference to a researcher for outstanding contributions, made in Canada, to the field of Semiconductor Science and Technology

2008.11.11: Selected papers on "Organic and Bio Nanotechnology: Materials and Devices for Electronics, Photonics and Renewable Energy Applications" from NGC/CSTC 2009 meeting will be published as a special issue of the Nanoscale Research Letters, an open access journal of Springer. Deadline for submission of the papers is August 17th, 2009. Further details will be available at this web site.

2008.10.04: Nanoelectronics and Photonics: from Atoms to Materials, Devices and Architectures (Lecture Notes from NGC2007 Spring School) has been published by Springer and is available from the Publisher and in the Internent book stores.

2008.09.03: Abstract submission is now available at the conference web site. Registration is required for abstract submission. Please, check the Frequently Asked Questions web page for questions, which you may have regarding registration, abstract submission and other matters related to your participation at our meeting.

2008.05.30: Innovation at the Edges workshop will be held as a satellite meeting at the NGC/CSTC 2009 conference. The workshop is co-chaired by Rafik Loutfty, director of the Xerox Center for Engineering and Entrepreneurship at McMaster University, and Karla Teixeira, Arizona Department of Commerce. This innovation summit invites investors and entrepreneurs looking to develop breakthrough technologies in electronics, photonics and renewable energy.

2008.04.25: Institute of Physics Publishing and organizers of NGC2009 & CSTC2009 meeting have signed an agreement on publishing selected papers on "Semiconducductor Nanotechnology: Materials and Devices for Electronics, Photonics and Renewable Energy Applications" as a special issue of the Nanotechnology journal. Deadline for submission of the papers is August 17th, 2009. Further details will be available at this web site.
