be published as a special issue of the Nanoscale Research Letters, an open access journal of
Springer. Deadline for submission of the papers is August 17th, 2009. Further details will be available at

available from the Publisher and in the Internent book stores.

Innovation at the Edges workshop will be
held as a satellite meeting at the NGC/CSTC 2009 conference. The workshop is co-chaired by
Rafik Loutfty,
director of the Xerox Center for Engineering and Entrepreneurship
at McMaster University, and Karla Teixeira, Arizona Department of Commerce. This innovation summit invites investors and entrepreneurs looking to
develop breakthrough technologies in electronics, photonics and renewable energy.

Institute of Physics Publishing and
organizers of NGC2009 & CSTC2009 meeting
have signed an agreement on publishing selected papers on "Semiconducductor Nanotechnology:
Materials and Devices for Electronics, Photonics and Renewable Energy Applications" as a
special issue of the Nanotechnology journal.
