Reminder from NGC2009 Organizers: The deadline for the regular conference fee payment is July 10 . After July 10 the conference fee will be 500 USD (600 CAD) and the hotels may also use our reserved rooms for sale to general public for the market price. We recommend our participants to make their conference fee payment and hotel reservation earlier rather than later to avoid unnecessary extra costs for their travel. Your early payment and secured participation help also to the conference planning and contribute to its succcess. Save money for the social and networking events at our meeting and other important things in your life!

Innovation at the Edges workshop will be held as a satellite meeting at the NGC/CSTC 2009 conference. The workshop is co-chaired by Rafik Loutfty, director of the Xerox Center for Engineering and Entrepreneurship at McMaster University, and Karla Teixeira, Arizona Department of Commerce. This innovation summit invites investors and entrepreneurs looking to develop breakthrough technologies in electronics, photonics and renewable energy.

Institute of Physics Publishing and organizers of NGC2009 & CSTC2009 meeting have signed an agreement on publishing selected papers on "Semiconducductor Nanotechnology: Materials and Devices for Electronics, Photonics and Renewable Energy Applications" as a special issue of the Nanotechnology journal.
