Fundamentals of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology for Electronics

Organizers of the NGCM2004 meeting in Krakow have signed a contract with Springer on publishing a tutorial book on "Fundamentals of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology for Electronics". Most of the contributors in the book are the speakers of the Summmer School of the NGCM2004 meeting in Krakow. Our book will be published as a volume in the Nanostructure Science and Technology series (from former Kluwer Publishers merged with Springer).

In addition to the regular chapters presenting the broad overview of the selected areas of nanoelectronics the book will also include a few short feature articles describing specific phenomena which provide potential key elements for future electronic devices and new ideas for information processing and storage in the nanoscale devices. Participants of the NGCM2004 are invited to present such articles after consulting with the Editors.

Editors: Evgeni Gusev, Anatoli Korkin, Jan Labanowski and Serge Luryi
