NGCM2004 update: May 17, 2004

Dear organizers of NGCM2004 meeting in St Petersburg:

We welcome in the Nano & Giga UNiverse the new members of our committees
and "early birds" on our list of invited speakers (see attached files).
Two other attached files contain our first flyer for the meeting with the very
general information, which is recommended for printing and distributing on the
meetings and individually. It is in the letter and A4 format and contains the conference
title, general information, registration form and contact information. This is our firt step
to announce the meeting. Once we have all necessary information for the first circular,
its draft will be presented to the organizers prior it will be distrubuted.

There are still a few roadblocks which hold us from going public on
the internet. The OSC web site contains the minimum required information,
e.g. who are organizers and sponsors, what is the conference scope, the reference
to the web site of our previous successful meeting in Moscow and preregistration
form. That is all we need to announce this web site: http://nanoandgiga.org/ngcm2004/
However it also has a reference to the URL address of the web site in St Petersburg,
which has much more information, but most of it are just samples (dummy information):
http://www.ioffe.ru/NGCM/ We wait a few more days until the Ioffe web site is ready and
full information about the speakers from Ioffe Institute is available. At the initial
stage there may be some duplication of information on both web sites, but only for an
adjustement period. Once we will establish full cooperation between our International
team and our Ioffe partners, the corresponding "buttons" on both web sites will be substituted
by cross references (hyperlinks) and actual data bases wil be on the "active mode" only on one
site, however we will have back up files on both OSC and Ioffe servers. Both web masters will have
access to each other servers. It may be confusing at the beginning but will provide us reliability
in the future.

Thank you for your help and support to NGCM2004 conference!

Best Regards,
Anatoli
