Dear co-organizers of NGCM2004 meeting in St Petersburg:
We would like to invite you to the teleconference to update everyone on
the status of the work which have been already initiated and exchange the
ideas and plans for our future meeting.
Thursday, May 15th, 6 pm Moscow time
I will send the dial-in USA and International phone numbers tomorrow. The
US number will be free of charge. I will send the cost information for the
outside of USA participants tomorrow.
The specific questions are the information about our two web sites located
in USA (Jan Labanowski, OSC) and in Russia (Vadim Siklitsky, Ioffe),
coordination of the meeting planning, advertising the conference and search
for the sponsorship. All ideas, comments, critique and of course (!) help and
support are most welcome.
We would like you to take a look and provide some comments on organization
and format of our main web site in St Petersburg http://www.ioffe.ru/NGCM/
and back up web site in USA http://NanoAndGiga.Org/ngcm2004/ , the
latter has a similar format as NGCM2002 site http://www.asdn.net/moscow/
in order to make it easy to recognize as continuing effort and reduce the work load
for the web master - Jan Labanowski, who provided and continue to provide an
outstanding support to "Nano & Giga" initiative. Please, keep in mind that both
web sites are under construction, although pre-registration is already available at
the OSC web site.
Please, notify us if your name is missing or misspelled or if any information
about your affiliation is not correct in the list of organizers:
http://www.asdn.net/ngcm2004/organizers-page.shtml
To those of you who consider to help us in linking your personal web site or
web site of your organization to your name on that list, please,
send the URL address to Maria Oseeva (moseva@socc.ru).
Note that there is a special menue item on the OSC web site -
"For Organizers Use", which allow the organuizers tio get access to
the registration data base, e-mails sent to ngcm2004@asdn.net and
other useful but somewhat sensitive information, which need to have
a restricted access. To enter this part of the web site, please, use
login: restricted and password: area. if login and passowrd will be
changed, the organizers will be notified and get a new "key".
Best regards,
Anatoli Korkin
